A few quick things about tonight's Gossip Girl... ( The Last Days Of Disco Stick )
I posted this voice post last night and I also reuploaded Paramore's Brand New Eyes to a new host. This is new news.
Is Glee! old tonight? I hate it when shows are not new.
I watched ( Gossip Girl 3x07, How To Succeed in Bassness, though. )

Motherfucker, I missed Gossip Girl. It switched times? FUCK. I needed my Chuck Bass tonight.

... and Chuck saves it with that one little throw-away tidbit of information. ♥
So, erm... you guys saw the Gossip Girl 3x06 promo, correct? YEAH, this, please. Chuckkk Basssss. I hate that they're probably gonna cut away from that. Because, yeah. That needs to happen.
( Gossip Girl 3x02- Two Cobra tunes in one episode? That's what I'm talkin' about. )
Tell me something. How did Chuck go from horribly apathetic, arrogant date-rapist to one of the most morally upstanding characters on this show?

I'm not sure whether I love or hate the lack of commitment that Gossip Girl puts into every storyline or relationship. They set up these scandalous relationships and plot twists, and then fifteen minutes later, it's like, oh, nope, psyche! Here's something else new. I guess that's why people can just love the show for what it is; nothing but fun. I hate people who are like, these new episodes of Gossip Girl suck. News flash, dudes and dudettes: Gossip Girl has always sucked a little bit. We're not exactly watching quality television here. That said, Gossip Girl is AWESOME. Kinda like Twilight, but actually, ha,way better written with even more well-rounded characters...
You know who I loved? Since I was, probably, fourteen? The Distillers. I couldn't decide if I wanted to marry Brody or be her. Never too early in the morning for the Distillers.
I got my watch from Lucky Brand, and it's actually a tambourine. It's the best thing in the world. I'm obsessed with it. It's this one. Amazing, y/y?
Happy Earth Day!

Yeah, so that's pretty much all I have to say about that. Weird that the only things I even have to say concern Chuck.

Going to bed at 5 o' clock in the morning is fine when you live on a ship in a cabin with no portholes. At home, with a window? Not so bright. Or, like. Really rather bright.
I've been mainlining this season of Gossip Girl so that I can get caught up, and I can't stop watching. I've only just managed to tear myself away.

Things!
1. I find my lack of Gossip Girl disturbing.
2. Guess what time of year it is? THE MOST WONDERFUL ONE. (Sucks to you're asthmar Americans with your strangely placed Thanksgiving.)
3. Any mini!Wentz's running around yet? COME ON, COME ON.
4. There are 761 kids on my cruise ship right now. There are 15 Youth Staff to look after them. Does anyone wanna pull my hair out for me, or shall I just do it myself?

Hi there, y'all. Here's an updated version of my address. The old Miami one will still reach me, but it'll take longer. This one will get to me once a week or so. :)

FYI, I bought Gossip Girl season one so that I could get my Ed fix, and also Pushing Daisies, because that show is still so incredibly brilliant. I miss television.
Oh, and I totally bought a badass costume for the Halloween party here. It's the Joker, and it's so fun. It's a coat and a shirt and the leggings, it comes with a Heath!Joker mask, but it looks really tacky and mad, so instead I'm going to paint my own face and spray my hair green and scraggly. It'll be a me!Joker. I'm excited for that.

I'm happier today. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it's day time, or the fact that we're headed to Canada, or the fact that a new girl just came on board so I'm busy helping her out. Her name is Sandi, she's from New York.
♥ I love you all, thanks for the messages, they made me a lot happier. Hanging in over here.

Help, guys. I'm leaving on Thursday for the wonderful, internetless sea, where all I do ever is work and wear uncomfortable evening gowns, and so I will not be able to watch the majority of this season of Gossip Girl.
I am down on my knees here, begging and pleading that if anyone has the screeners of 2x02 and 2x03 of Gossip Girl, they will point me in their direction.
Someone, anyone. My comments will be screened. ♥

It's breaking my heart that this is the last episode of the show I'll get to see this season. Honestly, I'd rather not think about it.

Hello from Thursday: THURSDAY IS PAYDAY. ♥ I'm gonna have money, oh joy of joys. I can buy things I desperately need. Such as new bras. And, like, Panic merch. Or something.
If you're at all involved in Gossip Girl fandom, you should join
gossipgirlnews. The girl who runs this is awesome, dedicated so much time to the fandom. She finds and organizes everything, for example, she's just posted a post of all the fandom's fanworks from April and May. I'm sure most of you are already joined up, but if not, it's wonderful.
A bit about Obama and Hilary: AWESOME. I read somewhere a few minutes ago that Hilary is suspending her campaign and endorsing Obama, which, yay! I'm not really sure if I'm supposed to care about the election, being Canadian and all, but it does effect us, so I do care, and yes, I did buy a "support Obama" pin while I was in Boston. So there, skeptics. ♥
"Reinvent ♥" is Panic at the Disco's new slogan (as we can see from the merch and the back of Ryan Ross' vest), and I have to say that I like it alot, despite the fact that I have to fight tooth and nail against my sensibilities that are telling me not to like it because of all the teenies that have jumped on board. I really don't wanna be one of those people who judges because of age, and I don't think I am. I've even gotten into fights with my friends who've judged my brothers (who are 17 and 18) because of their ages. But, guys, when I went to that Panic concert... let's just say there was a lot of slow, deep breathing. But I just wanted everyone to have fun, no matter what that means to them. Which I guess is what I say about the "Reinvent ♥" thing: I want everyone to have that slogan, whatever it means to them. Whether they look at those words and truly contemplate them, or whether they look at them and think of Ryan Ross' pretty face and it brings them closer. Or some combination of both. :P
ETA: I was using just my Gabe icon, but then I changed it, because, well, it's Pete Wentz's birthday, and he'd appreciate this one. NEVER TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING FOR THIS ICON.

I wish I had more hours in the day. The five hours between 6 (when I get home) and 11 (when I pretend to go to bed aren't enough in which to check my flist, read fic, play some random covers and things for fun, write songs, record the songs, practice with the boys, eat supper and catch up on all the SPN I've missed. Because, like. When am I supposed to listen to music and continue my season four Buffy marathon with the brothers?
WHAT ARE Y'ALL UP TO, TONIGHT?
PS: there's a
gg_secret post, and there's a secret in which someone expresses their annoyance at the phenomenon that is everyone spontaneously orgasming at Chuck Bass saying "I'm Chuck Bass". Alls I gotta say to that is, but like. He's Chuck Bass.
PPS: I forgot that I like music, so let's talk about that for a sec. I'm gonna post this and hope that there's at least one of these tunes you don't have.
I assume everyone know The Supreme's version of "Keep Me Hanging On". Well, there's this remake of it, by Vanilla Fudge from the mid-sixies. I prefer it, which is saying a lot about a remake. A remake of The Supremes, even. Anyways, this version is slower, more psych-rock, and I love it, so give it a try: Keep Me Hanging On- Vanilla Fudge.
Keeping to the same era(ISH, 1970), I give you that song everyone knows and forgets that they love: Signs by the Five Man Electrical Band. FIRSTLY, yes, I know it's the "signs, signs, everywhere a sign" song. My brother refers to it as "long haired freaky people" (no kidding, it's labeled as that on his itunes). BUT THIS SONG IS AWESOME. It's got that great intro, and whenever I hear it on the radio or my random, I always go, oh, what song is this? Because I know I know it, but I can't put it together since the intro is a completely different song. And then I always end up screaming, "SIGN SAID YOU GOT TO HAVE A MEMBERSHIP CARD TO GET INSIDE. (UH!)", because I am not immune to this song's awesome.
And then there's Everyday by Buddy Holly (like, um, late fifties, early sixies is my guess?) If you listen to this song and don't grin, you are a robot.
ETA: my kingdom for some good The Small Faces recs that aren't Ooh La La or Lazy Sunday (WHICH, FYI, ROCKS LIKE IT'S TURNED UP TO ELEVEN.)
