1. I'm looking to download the pilot of Glee. Anyone know where I could maybe do so? Ch-ch-check.

2. The Trews are today's DailyBand. Go give your opinion. These are my boys.

3. On the finale of Grey's Anatomy there was a really cool cover of Flashdance... What a Feeling. There it is, by Hollywood, Mon Amour. It's very good! I don't know a single girl that doesn't love this song, and the cover is very... good. Delicate, like most songs on emoional Grey's moments.

4. So I really, really like Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon. What are some other great songs by them?

5. Played a show last night. Huge turnout, we broke 100 and got the take at the door. Very good for a small dive bar. We got down.

Make it by swimming.

I'm not sure whether I love or hate the lack of commitment that Gossip Girl puts into every storyline or relationship. They set up these scandalous relationships and plot twists, and then fifteen minutes later, it's like, oh, nope, psyche! Here's something else new. I guess that's why people can just love the show for what it is; nothing but fun. I hate people who are like, these new episodes of Gossip Girl suck. News flash, dudes and dudettes: Gossip Girl has always sucked a little bit. We're not exactly watching quality television here. That said, Gossip Girl is AWESOME. Kinda like Twilight, but actually, ha,way better written with even more well-rounded characters...

You know who I loved? Since I was, probably, fourteen? The Distillers. I couldn't decide if I wanted to marry Brody or be her. Never too early in the morning for the Distillers.

I got my watch from Lucky Brand, and it's actually a tambourine. It's the best thing in the world. I'm obsessed with it. It's this one. Amazing, y/y?

Happy Earth Day!

Office- dunder mifflin this is jim
I'm catching up on the Office. I find that the new episodes are funny, but not funny like they used to be. Or, maybe they are, but I've just grown accustomed to them. In any event, sometimes, every few episodes, there's something that just makes me laugh out loud like I used to when watching the show.

Lately, two of those things have been the "Ding, dong, who's there?, KGB" jokes and the "monsters.com" bit. HAHAHAHA.

Buffy- everyone here is a crazy person
1. Rewatching Buffy season seven with the brothers. "It eats you starting with your bottom." Enough said.

2. Had a really bad day today. Highlights include: being told by someone that he can't stand living with me, my car not starting and having no-holds-barred honesty yelling matches with a coworker who used to be a friend. Buffy makes it better.

3. Is it really bad for you to lie on your back with your laptop on your chest or stomach? Like, am I getting fried like a microwaves or anything? Because it kinda feels like it.

4. I refuse to watch the Pete Wentz pee roulette thing. Refuse. Disgusting. This kinda gives me hope, because I was recently at the point of "it's Pete Wentz, I'll back anything he does". Good to know I still have my free will.

5. I have, however, played Hotel 626. JFC!

6. I recently read Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, and would like to add me extreme appreciation to the pile. Not only did I enjoy this book immensely, but I would have killed for this book when I was younger. Everything about it appeals to 9-year-old Virginia, most of all Liza Hempstock. Considering two of my favorite books as a child were Magic for Marigold and The Witch of Blackbird Pond, I know my copy would have been very dogeared. I have so much I want to say about these books themes and undertones, but I haven't been in school for over a year now and feel like I couldn't say them correctly.

7. While we're on the subject, am I the ONLY child that read Magic for Marigold? I have yet to find a single other person who's read it, young or old.

8. I'm going to see Fleetwood Mac in exactly one week.

The Good List:

1. Because of the hurricane we got re-routed to Quebec and are staying here overnight... and that means we can go clubbing alllllll night. Quoth every DC boy ever, "weeeeeeeeeeeooooooooooooooooo"!

2. I have gigs of the music persuasion for when I get back home. My morale is now through the roof.

3. I went shopping today and bought a new purse. Errrm, wallet? I have so many English friends now that they're making me talk like them. Anyhow, it's so pretty!

4. Mandy and I actually went out to dinner and had bonding time. It was... surprisingly good. I am starting to like her a lot.

5. I watched to the end of Mystery Spot. Holy holy holy shit, I feel like I've been punched in the gut. And the annoying thing is that Kripke LOVES it. I was watching the Dream a Little Dream scene specifics, and he's like, HA YES, HAHAHAHA, LET'S KILL THEM WITH ANGST AND DEAN DREAMING ABOUT HAVING A NORMAL FAMILY. Freakin' lunatic.

6. I get to see [info]shirethief on Thursday. I hope.

Hi there, y'all. Here's an updated version of my address. The old Miami one will still reach me, but it'll take longer. This one will get to me once a week or so. :)

FYI, I bought Gossip Girl season one so that I could get my Ed fix, and also Pushing Daisies, because that show is still so incredibly brilliant. I miss television.

Oh, and I totally bought a badass costume for the Halloween party here. It's the Joker, and it's so fun. It's a coat and a shirt and the leggings, it comes with a Heath!Joker mask, but it looks really tacky and mad, so instead I'm going to paint my own face and spray my hair green and scraggly. It'll be a me!Joker. I'm excited for that.

There are some really fabulous Gossip Girl icons here, of which the icon I'm currently using is one. Tonight's episode is the finale, and... I don't know what I'm gonna do for the rest of my summer. All I can say is, Ed had better get up to some pretty wacky antics to entertain me and keep me satisfied.

The happiest of birthdays to [info]shirethief and Pete Townshend: my best friend and my rock god. Two of my favorite people born the same day; must be a good one.

I watched just Gale Harold's part and the few minutes leading up to it on Desperate Housewives. Damn. I might have to watch next season for the Gale. That man is pure walking sex.

Anyone have the song from the end of Prince Caspian? It sounds kinda like Regina Spektor, but I dunno if it's her really. And speaking of that movie, did anyone notice that at the end, the Tim Curry look-alike went off to be a pirate? LONG JOHN SILVER BEGINS. Prince Caspian is clearly a Muppet's Treasure Island prequel.

Something important is happening tomorrow, what is it? OH YEAH, I'M GOING TO SEE BOB FUCKIN' DYLAN, THAT'S WHAT. \m/
SPN- Jensen's got the clap
Mornings (for the lose), Friday (for the win!)!

I know everyone who even remotely cares knows it, but [info]shoebox_project was updated this week, and !!!! My heart is slowly breaking, and I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN YONKS. YONKS!!!

(Also, marauders era vs. post-Hogwarts should not even be a question.)

I watched Panic at the Disco on Much on Demand last night. Watching them on something familiar kinda freaks me out. I was insanely happy that they got Sarah for an interviewer, though it was not one of her best. She's probably the only VJ left I can respect, besides maybe Devon. If Matt or Leah had interviewed them, I don't know what Ryan Ross would have done. Probably been even more mute than usual. It was weird that Spencer and Jon skipped off, but they must have won the coin toss. When they went to the window and the girl asked the candlelight dinner question, and Ryan leans right over close to her, I was like, wow, I want Ryan Ross to lean in to me, I hope she had nice breath. Shrug.

Speaking of the Disco, I had a nice time at work a few days ago trying to explain them to my boss. She wanted to know all about the band that had me booking two days off work to drive all the way to Boston to see. She wasn't really impressed by the pictures, and she didn't like the lyrics to When the Day Met the Night, but she liked Folkin' Around. One of the two year olds liked From a Mountain in the Middle of the Cabins, and would get mad whenever I put something different on.

The Season One Gossip Girl DVD cover art. I like almost everything about it, Dan and Serena are cute, Blair is kinda bitchy. Except. Chuck looks way too happy, what the hell. He's like, ahaha, tralala, I'm Chuck from happy land and also, I like Jenny!

I need something to eat. Toast, or like. A muffin. I very much extremely dislike breakfast foods. Except Honey Nut Cheerios, I like those. ♥

you just said that wrong, didn't you.

GA- if we sit here
- I can hear Johnny and Jamie in the living room, going "toy boat, toy boat, toy boat, toy boat, toy boat" over and over again. Oh, they just switched to "hermit, hermit, hermit, hermit". I have no idea.

- TV hates me, because I have to watch The Office and Grey's, and both are on at 10. I think I've decided to wait and download the Office tomorrow because it's shorter. Supernatural, well. Is it sad that I still get excited on mew SPN nights, when I'm so far behind that I can't watch them yet? YAY NEW SPN.

- Work = lose, because it takes up all of my time and when I get home I'm so tired from getting up early, that I go to bed early. MY LIFE IS GOING TO BECOME JUST WORK, which is epic fail, because it's just not me, and I don't wanna lose myself all summer. But, good things: kids are fun, I get money, and I get to work with my friends. So, positive side, I suppose.

- I dislike it when people in communities are like, here are three of my icons, join my community to see the rest. It's completely pompous and annoying, a waste of so much time. And usually, I'm not even planning to look at the icons, just reading that on my flist Ts me O.

- Jensen and Jared? Are in love. Don't even try to deny their epic romance.

& Fall Out Boy's video for 'Beat It'. Ha! Haha! I like it.

& Ian McKellen says he'll be Gandalf in the new Hobbit films. If they don't take him up on that, they are nuts.

& my Gossip Girl download is doanloading. I'm psyched.

& Did you know that Cosmo from Fairly Odd Parents has a new voice? DO NOT WANT. I am heartbroken.
Office- B A N A N A S
Drank lots of rum last night, am going to drink lots more tonight. I feel pretty good about it, it's awesome. I think the fact that I don't get hungover can be attributed to the fact that I only drink rum. And also, that I get up early. This morning, in fact, I got up at 6:40 and drank water and then drove home. Tonight's partyage is brought to you by [info]fangorious_c and his coming-home-ness.

Guillermo del Toro to officially direct the Hobbit films. Awesome, it's gonna be so cool. Also, I like this step in the direction of concrete-ness. GIVE ME MY MOVIES. COME ON.

My download of The Office is going soooooooo slowly (17%), and I can't even find a whole file of Grey's Anatomy. And I'm not even gonna bother downloading Supernatural 3x13, because I'm still stuck back somewhere around 3x05. Actually, I think I'm gonna watch a few of those today and get caught up so that I can make with the squee. I've said that before, though, I'm an IDIOT. I LOVE YOU BOYS, YOU'RE STILL MY FAVORITE SHOW ON TELEVISION.

Speaking of Supernatural, I've spread it quite a ways around Mt Allison University via my bored brother. He came a few weeks ago to borrow some dvds, and I shoved season one at him. He looked at it and said it looked dumb, like it would try to hard to be scary, but I told him to take it anyway. A few days later he called me all, "yeah, so... do you have season two?" Which, yes. Yes I do. \m/ And he got his roommates all hooked, because they all lay around and watch tv shows together, so that was five more 20-23 year old guys on board, and now they're all downloading season three and recommending the show to their friends. One of them actually said to me, why haven't I heard of this show? It's so much better than most things on television right now! Yes, YES IT IS. Love it, embrace it.

Spencer Smith in Drum magazine. Lookit him, being all "real musician" and whatnot. How sexy is he?

31%. Come on, I wanna see the new Scranton shenanigans.
